Large Smokey Quartz from Madagascar. This piece has a special structure known as Elestial. Quartz from Madagascar often has a coating on it, preventing you from seeing inside the piece, this has been sympathetically polished, following the crystals natural shape. Some areas have been left unpolished. It also has a natural hole down through the middle of the piece, which would be ideal for lighting it (as shown in the photos).
