We probably have the largest selection of Amethyst Geodes in the UK (also known as Cathedrals or Churches). From small 10cm 1kg, up to large 5 foot tall 120 kg plus. Many of the larger geodes are sold in pairs, this beautifully displays the true wonder of these natural giants.
The majority of Amethyst geodes are carefully prepared in Brazil, this includes forming a level base for the piece to stand on, for which they use concrete, this and the back of the geode is then painted.
In addition to this traditional method, we also stock “polished back” Amethyst geodes. This is where the back of the amethyst has been polished to a high sheen, allowing light to pass through and thus creating a whole different effect.
These pieces are highly desirable and not easy to come by! We also have a good range of White Moroccan Quartz geodes in all sizes, various Chalcedony geodes and Agate geodes, as well as Citrine Geodes.
